This is of indirect relevance to this thread so I'm hoping it can stick. VEFers in the UK will probably be aware that a long-thought-lost recording of David Bowie performing 'The Jean Genie' live for TOTP in January 1973 has just resurfaced and was broadcast last night. The BBC had wiped the original studio tape but one of the camera-men involved in the recording, John Henshall, had made his own copy (in superb quality) and that was TX'd last night to allow us to see this performance for the first time in 38 years. Of more relevance to this thread, John stated in an interview that he also has over 100 more tapes from that era of shows which had previously been thought to have gone forever. How great it would be if some of them could resurface here. I wonder if he was perhaps the camera-man for the one outstanding Holy Grail which has yet to appear on VEF - and that is the topless scene featuring Michele Dotrice in the 1970 'Wednesday Play' entitled "Emma's Time". She appeared recently in a repeat of an episode of 'Murder in Suburbia' from 2005 and certainly now looks her age! That same program also featured Charon Bourke in a brief role - she had barely enough dialogue to qualify for a name-credit and was listed only as 'blonde woman'! Charon's FF scene in the 1985 production 'Glamour Night' was requested way back in 2007 in post #1 of this now-epic VEF thread. So, as a bonus, I have included Charon's (fully clothed) clip with JPGs to show how she and Michele look nowadays.

Just some info. on some vintage Australian TV nudity I've become aware of. On the well known site Y****be, a user called austv 1 has put hundreds of episodes of vintage Australian TV up Including the TV series versions of "Alvin Purple", "The Box" and "Number 96" and many others, including Australian versions of UK series. also some sought after films.
