I first saw Felicia in a Rdx film which, as many of you will know, began with an intro comprising of a handful of quickfire clips from their other titles. One of these intros ended with a scene from what I now know is 'Nympho Message' and showed Felicia and Esther wanking off two men. As Esther brought her man to orgasm, both girls remained in shot the whole time. However, in the full version of Nympho Message which I now have, the camera is close-up on just Esther as her guy spurts.

Here's a screenshot – actual movie on the left, 'intro clip' on the right.

Curious. Does anyone know how this came about?

I suppose this (again) proves that many of the 8mm reels were re-edited before transferring them to compilation video. I guess the main reason for that was an adaptation: the compilation had to fit on the videotape cassettes CC chose (30 & 60 min)

Yes, I can understand editing for reasons of time but, in this case, nothing has been cut as the same scene is in both versions - one 'wide', one 'close-up'. I don't know if it's possible with 8mm to take the 'wide' shot and edit it make it 'close-up'. Why would they bother?

Afaik you can blow up a super8 frame only by digitally scanning it at a very high resolution.

I suppose the Rodox trailer was compiled from 8mm reels or leftovers from the 'cutting room floor'. That's why the scene isn't in the video version I guess.
When you would have a rip of the original (60 M, 1980) reel you could compare it against the 'VHS version', usually beginning with the parameter duration.

On the subject of 'intros' here are two which you'll have no doubt seen many times when buying your porn on VHS tape. I got mine by sending a cheque to an address in Denmark. 'Petra Larsen' it was made out to. Funny the things that stick in your mind...

Anyway, the intros. Ten points for each film you can name. Nothing for B12 as I've named it in an earlier post.
