This movie is called Zombi 2, though there seems to be no Zombi 1. I guess I'm not missing much if I skip it anyway. Some say the title stems from the fact that Dawn of the Dead was screened as Zombi in Italy. Whatever, these movies are unrelated. Hell, even the various scenes in this one are unrelated.

Zombi 2 is the work of Italian gore legend Lucio Fulci. The story begins in New York when a fat zombie kills a police officer on a seemingly abandoned boat. The boat belongs to Anne Bowles' (Tisa Farrow) missing father who was conducting research on Matul, a Caribbean island. In her quest to find out what happened to her father, she meets Peter West (Ian McCulloch), a reporter who questions the official version of the story told by the police. Bowles and West hire a boat and set sail to Matul. Normally when people plan a long distance trip that should bring them to their destination as soon as possible, they take a plane but that's a different story.

Well, arriving on Matul, they encounter what the movie title suggests and fight for their lives in a number of hilarious scenes.
Ah "Zombi 2" - according to ye olde Wiki, upon its release in the United Kingdom on 2 January 1980, the British Board of Film Classification required a total of one minute and forty-six seconds of material to be cut in order to obtain an X rating.

The movie is controversial since it was originally listed as a "video nasty" in the UK for scenes like the following:

This is one of my movies: Falling Down starring Michael Douglas, Robert Duvall, Barbara Hershey, Rachel Ticotin, others. Douglas stars as a middle aged man who was recently layed off from his job at a California defense plant. He was also recently divorced from his wife played by Barbara Hershey. The movie opens with him stuck in a traffic jam on a small road under an overpass on a very hot day. He gets so fed up with this he decides to leave his car and go to his former home where is former wife and daughter live in the city of Venice, Ca. From that moment he encounters weird people, and has to practically fight his way through Latino gang infested neighborhoods, homeless people, druggies and others. At the same time Robert Duvall is a police officer on his last day as a Robbery detective, about to retire, and he gets mixed up with some crimes that Michael Douglas committed. It is a complicated film with lots of stuff happening. A very good film.

Now I find half opened eyed cheesy grinning James Franco mostly bloody annoying anyway

So he`s perfectly cast in ,

This

As a filthy rich foul mouthed filthy minded arsehole who is besotted by his girlfriend . Yet having not been given the approval of the father decides to choose various ways to batter him into acceptance instead.

Isn't exactly a laugh riot yet isn't utterly lousy either (Uh huh what a ringing endorsement ).

Default Klute (1971)

a "neo-noir crime-thriller" with Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland.
pretty decent movie. she plays a prostitute and Sutherland is a private
eye assigned to a case involving her. Fonda won the best actress Oscar
for her performance, and she also gives us a brief view of her "norks".
