You may also want to practice this :

Where's the "Barbecue Summer" they've been promising for the last few years?
I don't believe anything past the five day forecast.

BTW I was fishing in the '87 storm. Wonder why I caught nothing?

Pepsi develops a 100% plant based water bottle with plans to make it their standard.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42087502...-based-bottle/

Three cheers to Pepsi. Large corporations take a lot of flack for various reasons, some of it deserved some not. In this instance they have done us all a big favor and deserve a pat on the back and maybe even some customers.

I read somewhere that in the U.S. alone, enough oil is used making plastic water bottles to run 100,000 cars for a full year. Pepsi will be creating much needed revenue for farmers and jobs with this scheme. If it's profitable you will see other companies switch their products and that's bound to be good for all of us. Except those greedy ass oil companies and they can go f**k themselves anyway!

On the subject of weather, I am a complete polar opposite. You know they say that people feel more alive when the sun is out well I am usually tired and bad-tempered and I hate Summer, although that is only when the temperature gets above 25c/77f and is more than 17c at night. I like Spring and Winter, and I for one love the snow, okay I admit that older people that have to go out, or those of you that have to travel a fair distance to work in it don't like it, but it is a natural, wonderful phenomenon that only a few years ago they said would be a thing of the past. Nice to see that prediction was wrong but to be fair they haven't mentioned 'Barbecue Summers' for two years because they got it so wrong the last time. Take each day as it comes and see what occurs. Those of you regulars will know my feelings towards Summer and being in an attic etc but since 2008 I used to get rashes on the back of my hands for now obvious reason so another excuse to hate the heat...of course many of you will love it but like they say, each to their own

I'm with you on that Greenman.
My upper limit is 15C.
I enjoy cross country and fell-running. Above that temperature I must consume additional things to keep going. I can function in heat, it just takes a little more knowledge of how everything works and the purchase of equipment. Plus lots of insect repellent!
Winter is good for me.
If it snows I like to have moonlit runs through snowfields at 4am, it's almost like daylight. If it's particularly cold I'm clothed head to foot with just a slit for my eyes like a ninja. You must remember to drink because of the cold, dry air drawing moisture from the lungs, and the new LED lenser torches are effin brilliant. Plus I get the place to myself.

That is true. And we tell tall tales and drink whiskey and stout. We are little people that live in the bogs and mountains. We speak an ancient language, that nobody understands. we do. And nobody has ever defeated us. And never will.

A quick scan around the world:

Political uprisings rife in arabian countries, famine in africa, the american economy on the verge of implosion, the euro heading for the gutter, phone hacking revelations by the day etc etc

What does the daily mail have on it's front page today?

Plastic fucking bags. Tomorrow they are going to appeal for someone to send back the plot they lost.

Default The "Monstering" of Chris Jefferies

This man was arrested (and subsequently cleared) during the investigation of the Jo Yeates murder on Christmas day. Just for that the press did whatever digging they do and "Monstered" him on their front pages. Now we see some small retribution. Should have been more.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14342766
I also hear Mr Jefferies is suing. Good for him.

Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty?"
More like guilty if the papers say you are.

The USA economy will collapse. Not new news. All planned by the masters behind the scenes, who run the show.Mr Obama. What would he do without his script he reads from. It is so sad that so many people live and don't question WTF is going on.
