I'd like to see a Fuck You clause where the player insists that his former club have to pay double the maximum bid from other clubs. That would give Ferguson a bright red nose, if he didn't already have one.

I see Radio 2 and the SSE Arena in Wembley are celebrating the anniversary(to the minute) of England's one and only World Cup win on 30th July, 1966 against Germany. I get the feeling however that we may have to wait a considerably long time before we can stop harking back to this achievement and I wonder if we will EVER win it in my lifetime-we can but hope.

Good heavens! Liverpool beat A C Milan 2-0 in this meaningless International Cup thing yesterday, and next Saturday have Barcelona at Wembley, strangely Barca have been made the HOME team!! I think it might be a lot harder to beat them especially with old boy Suarez in the team.

I want to give a 'shout out' to the San Diego Sea Lions, who made it all the way to the championship game of the Women's Premier Soccer League (the league 103 teams strong, and right below the professionals) before they lost to the Boston Breakers Reserves - who are the reserves for the professional Boston Breakers. If you look at the Breakers Reserves team page, you will see that they field 2 subsidiary teams of their own. The Sea Lions had not lost at all this season, until this game.

And Chelsea could have got Lukaku back for less than the UK National Debt

The Hamper fraud trial has been abandoned and rescheduled for 24 October, I wonder how long that one will last?

Sakho still not a Baggie, the deal appears to be dragging its feet. We are apparently trying to sign everyone and his dog, just a question of which media outlet or pundit you believe.
