No worries I hate them as well.

They just tell you what they think you want to hear and hope you believe it, unfortunately for them many supporters have wised up.

The two David's see the club as a family heirloom and a way to make money for there other businesses, while having little or no idea about football and are prepared to throw anyone under the bus to save themselves.

Lady Brady seems to have more interest outside football rather than within as well as upsetting all and sundry with her ramblings in the Sun, she has The Apprentice and hobnobbing it with her wealthy chums, while amassing her own personal fortune, £80mill at the last count. Lady Muck has apparently been seen spending time in the House of Lords recently, not surr why.

I wish they would just come clean and tell us the truth, but for me that seems beyond them, best for them to slip out the back door and jump in either the river or canal.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, Augsburg have sacked Daniel Opare on the grounds of breaking club rules and values for having private discussions with Schalke . Valued at about £3 million and plying his trade at full back, he is close to agreeing terms with West Ham United.

Its not like we have no midfield creativity and little or no hope in the goal scoring stakes at the moment, but it appears the David's have forsaken philately and have started collecting full backs.

I just hope this is the rumour mill gone wrong.

I'm off to the pub.

Thought I'd change direction a bit.........
Don't think the thread has discussed Half and half scarves???

But they are starting to really P**s me off,

Ok I went to Newport the other week and hey ho A Newport fan wanting to Remember the moment.

But I came out of Wembley Park station on Wednesday night and virtually had to force my way past them. Probably more of them than ticket touts!!!!!

My question is where do we draw the line. I WILL get one in Turin this week 'cos I love Buffon!!!

But Mark Pugatch said they were selling Leeds/Millwall scarves last week!!!!!!!

I saw some Hurdy Flurdys wearing West Ham/Tottenham scarves two years ago and was distraught!!!

So if I see any Spurs/Arse scarves Saturday I'll swing for 'em.

Ps two new grounds coming up next week!!

JUVENTUS!!!!! Then Spotland????? Happy Days

Merchandise...someone selling a souvenir which is of no interest to the average supporter, however drop in fans (let's call them something - how about 'fannies'?) would blithely pick up anything that they can wear whilst gurning into their selfie stick. Not wanting to racially stereotype here too much, but some of our overseas visitors do have a somewhat different perspective on matchday 'things to do' than your average long suffering home supporter.

I do wonder if you can get anything on a half and half: Rangers/Celtic? Newcastle/Sunderland (100% guaranteed to draw advice from passing strangers, that, pet) Wednesday/Blades? Brighton/Palace or Citeh/Utd? I wouldn't mind betting if a team plays at Old Trafford, there's a commemorative scarf for the occasion, so there will be MUFC/LFC half and halfers for the terminally clueless.

I think that they are a useful indicator of how far and how quickly the game has lost its' soul and sense of tradition - almost like a visual 'up yours' to the long-standing misery guts supporter who has fondly held memories of the day when this was the people's game rather than one belonging to the Murdoch family and a whole despicable generation of armchair manager statisticians who see live football as being on a par with X-Box.

As you may have noticed, LUFC are looking for a new badge to commemorate their centenary. My facetious suggestion was a white flag. Not, I should hasten to add, a half and half one. There again, they might just go for that...

From what i've read half & half exists only because

Half-and-half football scarves aren't a scourge of modern football, they're a symptom

Football scarves on which old rivals share space are the source of increasing levels of fury, but they are a logical byproduct of modern footballing culture

1. Tourists
2. Star players and not clubs are the attraction for some
3. 3rd parties will always fill a niche market if clubs wont

The half and half is little more than a match day program that says i was there
in a different form imho

You still have to earn the win. Many teams have struggled to beat ten men. Okay Chelsea were all at sea even before the sending off but 4-1 does flatter them.

With better finishing and final balls it could well have been seven or eight and Conte might be back in Italy already. Our final ball and cross yesterday against West Ham was pitiful again. Gracia made the right tactical changes and we dominated the second half but the lack of tempo was a killer.

Nicely observed minutes applause for Vic Keeble from a time when footballers were genuine decent people.

Our injury list is still very long and hopefully some of those players will be back soon. Great to see the back of Silva the snake. A nasty piece of work pretty much in the Mourinho mould.

A welcome three points yesterday probably aided by Watford's box to box dominance, but little of value in either penalty area. I cannot help but think that from Burnley on down anyone is capable of being relegated although for a couple not this season.

Chelsea seem to be a team in demise, we beat them back in December 1-0 and the Chelsea of old would have run rough shod over us banging in four or five. They have been removed from the League cup by the Gooners a team they rarely fail against. A loss at home to Bournemouth, who have just been run ragged by Huddersfield, as well as the loss at Watford. The back ups beat Newcastle in the cup, as well as Norwich on penalties including a non event in canary land.
Looking at some of the Chav's squad, many of whom would not even have been looked at in days gone by. Luiz is a disaster in the making, even PSG got shot of him, enter Wenger, Bakayoko has a worse first touch than Andy Cole and I cannot help but think they might be better off employing a donkey. Why are they buying the likes of Barkley and Drinkwater who are average PL players at best. Maybe something is seriously wrong between Conte, the players and RA, I would not be surprised if the Baggies rolled them over on Monday night.
Just for the record, the poorest two teams I have seen this season are Stoke and ourselves.
Apologies to Stoke fans.

He's gone from Everton's dream date to being second (or third) choice for Leeds, who instead opted for Paul Heckingbottom. Which says something, but if I were Silva I wouldn't dwelll for too long. The third contender was Hansse, the up and coming young German manager...
