(Berlin, May 5, 1945 - Uppsala, October 7, 1997) was a Swedish model, dancer and naturalized German actress
His mother belonged to a family of Swedish origin and had the surname of Lindstrom and was born in Berlin in December 1932 in a family of the petty bourgeoisie that was later destroyed during the Second World War; his father was a Russian soldier who, during the Battle of Berlin in 1945, took the mother of Ulla Lindstrom and joined her sexually despite her younger age, leaving her when she gave birth to a daughter.
Ulla grew up in Germany until the age of fourteen, when her mother, who was a waitress in a third-grade establishment, was forced to send her to Russia for alleged relatives of her husband, who lived in Tallinn and enrolled in Lindstrom, for economic reasons. The Leningrad Ballet Academy, where it was an extraordinary success, was sent with a group of dancers on a tour of the countries of the Iron Curtain, dancing in front of Tito Broz in Yugoslavia and before the President of the Republic of Poland in Versavia .
In 1962, a Swedish choreographer noticed her during a dance in Moscow and hired the owner of the Leningrad Ballet Academy to come to Sweden, so Lindstrom moved to Stockholm, where he held some positions as director of the Royal Ballet Academy . then becoming its main presenter. She also worked as a model for the magazine Penthouse Pets and is considered with Brigitte Bardot the first reincarnation of female sexuality.
In 1970 he married Prince Ferdinand Joachim zu Wied, son of the German prince and diplomat Viktor zu Wied and actress Marita Rökk, and then worked extensively for Swedish film producers who play minor roles often in comedies or musicals. In 1978 he received Swedish nationality.
