As someone in the process of stripping, repairing, priming and painting with the knowledge that I may have to do it all again in another 10-12 years, if I'm lucky.
I really think that if people submit plans to build with weatherboard cladding, that they should be told to go away and rethink that one.

Those little phones that fit in your ear, bluetooth I believe they're called. I guess they have their use, but people walking around with those little things in their ears in the market or the bank or the video store look like idiots.

You are so right mate, I put this in a thread a while back. I use a bluetooth hands free shit thingy because it is the law in the UK.
However, the first thing I do when I stop the car is disconnect and unplugg it from my lugg!
I have actually seen people walking around supermarkets with 2 earpiceces in!

Mind they are usually about 25 and trying to look

What can it do that a good sharp carving knife does not?

2, The good old electric toothbrush

You still have too put it in your mouth and brush

3, The dishwasher

How many times did you wish your wife was doing the dishes while you were watching TV?

Mobile/cell phones, mp3s, the demise of broadsheet newspapers, ott health & safety laws, car alarms, "reality" TV, "talent" shows, facebook/twitter and all that shite, processed food...I could go on!

Hey, that sounds familiar.I searched "inventions" and nothing came up, but now that you mention it, I remember complaining about blue tooth as well.
Sorry if this thread exists somewhere, I couldn't find it

On topic, We went to a drive in movie recently.I miss the old speakers that mounted on my window.When the heck did they start transmitting on FM? Bah! I don't like it.
