Late to the party.

Wondering.. when asking what 'women want' do any of us ask whether the present day woman is at all similar to women of previous eras. Not at all sure they are.

Factoring in historical movements that helped advance women's causes, the one item you never hear mentioned is the 'role' of women having changed significantly from serious homemakers that might work part time -- to full blown entrepreneurs looking to catch the brass ring.

Every female is taught today to forge a career of some kind, verses the generation of our parents. Many of those gals were known for supporting a home and raising a family. It's all about careers such that being a homemaker and raising children doesn't stand for much. In the meantime the scrapping of the traditional role they once had, in order to find themselves out there competing with men.

A shame women of this sort are considered either an anachronism or pretty much gone now...
