Transferring Super8 to DVD-R
First off, apologies to the mods if this isn't the right section for this topic.
I've just been fortunate enough to lay my hands on a bunch of 16 old (late '70s / early '80s) Super8 porn movie reels - Rodox / CC and similar material. All hairy pussies, natural tits, stockings & suspenders - at least if the box photos are representative of what's inside, which I believe it to be. Marvellous stuff!!! Although right now I don't have any means of viewing them, I thought it would be extremely silly to let the opportunity to buy them pass, as such a chance would probably not come again - after all, I can always buy a projector or viewer. What I'd really like to do (once I've bought said projector) is transfer them onto DVD-R for posterity. Only problem is, being a bit of a technophobe (compared to some people here anyway, it would seem) I haven't got the foggiest clue as to how to go about it. And for various reasons (which should be obvious) I'm loathe to approach a professional film services company to do it for me, even though I'm sure that it would be just a relatively simple bread & butter job to them. Can anyone help with some tips (in layman's terms, if at all possible!!). But (again, if possible) avoiding doing it with a PC as I always seem to make a complete balls-up of even the simplest PC software installation (e.g. can't get Firefox to work, can't get Nero to work ....). Any tips will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance (and in hope!!)!
