Question about the pornstars of the old days!
Hello,
I have only one question - Which one is considered to be the best pornstar of the old days? Maybe Kay Parker? ... Thank you. |

Though the population of stars of the Golden Era is vanishingly small compared the the number of contemporary performers, I think you would likely get as many different responses as there were stars; just as if you were to ask about today's stars.
I don't have any particular favorite to name but it did occur to me that one might make a strong case for Marilyn Chambers as she was not only a sexual powerhouse but she brought the adult business a great deal of attention from the general public. Just a thought. |

Marilyn would definitely be in my top 5. She was definitely great. But my favorite is Hyapatia Lee. In the early 80's I thought she was one of the most beautiful women in the world (maybe the most beautiful for a few years).

it is a difficult thing to gauge, but I would say Seka was very prolific but then again, Candy Samples was very popular but did less hardcore than Seka, then Bridgette Monet and Kay Parker and earlier, Rene Bond, Carol Connors...remember, porn went from dark theaters to 16 mm then videocassettes but the first machines were $500 (1982?)-it was then, it became more known I would think and less underground or just on the seedy side of town. After urban breakthroughs by Linda Lovelace and Marilyn Chambers, porn was still a thing of magazines and order forms if you had a projector...it did not seem that recognizable by the general public as it is more of today...somewhat
