Started 20/5/17 post 2056 and its still a mystery

Problems with Imagehosts - Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, (...)

There are connection issues where you get the - your connection was reset message
- nothing short of re-connecting fixes it - for a time

Then theres the issue of ad-blockers interfering with imagebam accounts

They say its only uploads by ad-block plus but i've noticed u block origin
stopping access to images & galleries in my own account.

I got access to my imagebam account after i turned off ublock origin
a few minutes ago

A few random images tested are working for now

It is what it is - i'm avoiding uploading to it and using imgbox

Imagebam is closing and I have tried to download all my pics to my HD. I can not seem to do it. Anyone know how download the uploads??
Yes I am a tech idiot so please don't post it too!!

I have not used this chrome etension but it claims to download bulk images from hosts like imagebam.

Geez, I am truly hosed here.
I moved 90% of my posts over to Imagebam.

At least I can tell you, thanks for the idea to download one's own posts.
I will be downloading mine to external drives. Never use your boot drive.
I also use imagedownloader when on Firefox, as it's a good add-on.
Grabs all the images and allows to select the folder, of certain hosts like Imagebam.

I've pretty much hated all the other image hosts.

Not sure what to do except ask that the staff not delete my posts,
some of them more than 10 years old on this forum.
I will be replacing them - so if staff can be patient,
and perhaps notify me when they find the odd ones.

I know that's a lot to ask, but I have always replaced posts in good faith.
I'm talking about main vintage and modern porn stars and models, mag scans,
many of the classic vintage threads, that I keep track of.

Thanks, and I am now looking for new hosts.

Geez...now I'm kinda glad I've kept my "collections" so strict and specific to type and model. I pity the folks with a 500G collection of any and all. That's gotta be a bitch to replace. I have a 1TB external HD which stores all my adult stuff, with a second back-up. Plus I have repetitions on the files...if I lose some there's a good chance I have a replacement. I lost all my files on sharing sites before so I learned my lesson. But the bitch is where do we go from here? Imgur? ImageVenue? Some forums download directly to their sites without requiring we go to an off site service. What format do they use?

Good point. After reading all the other threads, and Jenny's notice,
at least I can thank staff for giving our posts some time for re-up.
The true question is where to host.

I pretty much have all my VEF posts of mine archived on
redundant external drives, so that's not the issue.
Just where.

I feel sorry for those who mentioned they would have to match up an image,
to an image in their collections, rather than the true collectors who use
CSV accuracy, or known sets by file name structure, website structure,
basically organization. I've always been organized since Usenet days.
