Grretings from Finland!
Introducing you to Finnish singers.
Mona Carita made four albums between 1979-83. She was 17 at the time her first album (two first pics) was released. Third pic is the cover from her third album (1981). Her biggest hits were cover versions of Boney M's Rasputin, Blondie's Call Me (Soita mulle), and Kim Wilde's Kids In America (Kaupungin lapset). These days her songs are only heard when someone wants to show how embarrassing the songs back then were... What can I say about Helinä Ilkka? Jää vielä aamuun translates stay until morning. Hmmm... maybe I would... Last edited by PoloMintGuy; March 13th, 2023 at 10:27 PM.. Reason: Removed dead image |

Cassettes
I hope the scans are good enough. These cassettes were released in the 1970's & 80's.
Kata Kärkkäinen example of tasty Finnish compilations - no original artists: Playboy artists compilation, that's Barbi Benton on cover: Lektyr (Swedish men's mag) compilation, and Italian compilation - no original artists. ] Back to the 1980's with Sam Fox & Sinitta! Roger Waters' The Pros and Cons of Hitch-Hiking has been seen several times, but I couldn't resist scanning the cassette version. Sorry for repost They did know how to make new people lend an ear to Harry James' music: |
