Info regarding early Private movies

Hey,

I've been on a bit of a Private kick lately but given how unhelpful the generic name "Private" is I'm having a hard time really getting a lot of info.

I understand that they like most large companies were around in some form from as early as the 70s with a huge back catalogue of magazines but I'm wondering what they had in terms of films? I'm sure they were into the whole loops thing and I've seen "Private Hamburg Film" mentioned which I think could be the same company.

I'd also be interested to know what the earliest 60+ minutes films would have been, any titles or alternate labels they may have gone by would be extremely helpful. I'm trying to find out on my own but search "Private" anything you may as well search XXX as the results will be just as useless to you.

I don't think that the Private brand was ever directly attached to films/loops but they did eventually do the video thing - a little late - with their Video Magazine.

Later on they were to become quite a large producer so perhaps Berth Milton was not a massive fan of the format and his retirement then opened the door for Milton Jnr to exploit it......whilst simultaneously turning the magazine to shite.

Private video Magazine 1 was 1991.

Have been looking for them as one of the earlier videos starred an english girl. 1 of the first vids i remember seeing.
