First and foremost a certain religious book that begins with a "K" and sounds like "more ran" (plus all of its most extreme followers) would be rounded up and incinerated to provide heat for those in the northern most latitudes. That should calm the world down quite a bit-give us all a chance to catch our breath-relax a bit.

Next the Koch brothers and their oil-pals, plus the insurance barons, would be "asked" at, gun point if necessary, to re-invest most of their billions back into all of the countries that have been sucked dry for the last 30 years. (Oh they can keep, say 1 Billion each, I mean-they did cheat us out of it fair and square)

The Mob would be allowed to run New Orleans again-that city was never so safe and clean after they were ousted.

Blondifan's plan would be enacted forthwith

Tax breaks for farmers.

Work week drops to 30 hours.

Hydrogen powered cars.

As for my own personal corruption...because we all know there would be some of that...I would start by staffing my home with a bevy of large breasted, thin waist-ed, lactating "maids".

1st, The Mob would run everything too my pleasing, except the Catholic church

2nd, Tax breaks for farmers , and all abolish welfare

3rd, 30 hour work week will be done in 1 shift and a week will be 3 days, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will no longer exist

4, Hydrogen power for all cars, in fact a cigarette lighter will be included in the toy car box...........All grown up cars will be of no less than 8 cylinders and 5 litres, and must have a carburetor

I think, with the explosive power of hydrogen an 8 cylinder engine would probably blow the doors off of anything gas powered-I didn't say they had to be slow cars

Not a whole lot of serious answers here .. .. or was there?

1. Dealing with Crime; No more than 3 months between arrest and sentencing. Death penalty for violent crimes and crimes against children. No more than 6 months to carry out sentence. Executions televised so people think twice.
Marijuana legalized unless it happens to be laced with other substances.
1st DUI is $5000 fine. 2nd DUI $10000 fine and lose license for 5 years. 3rd DUI $25000, year in jail and lose license for life.

2. Green up our Economy; Reduce our $1 Billion a day oil dependence. Incentives for electric vehicles and public transportation. Tax the crap out of gas guzzlers. Create jobs in green industry like solar, wind and energy storage. Encourage small, home based energy production as well as larger wind/solar farms. Ban the use of plastics where other products can be used and move to recycle as much plastics as possible.

3. Population control; Most of our problems are due to the fact there are too many people using limited resources. It's going to get worse. It needs controls but it's a touchy subject. First, reproduction should be a privilege rather than a right. Children should not be a tax deduction. Family size limitations implemented. Screening for genetic defects and embryo scans to help prevent severe deformities and retardation from reaching full term. There I said it.

4. I concur with the aforementioned posts about Blondi and cheerleaders.

5. Fully fund research and development of the holodeck and then make it USB plug into the internet for some very interesting online chats.
