Somehow I knew that and don't blame you one bit. One of my sisters worked as an environmental lobbyist in D.C. for a number of years before fleeing in despair. Somehow, we let the bozos take over and need some tough and dedicated customers to get us out of this mess.

My sister notes that it is actually quite shocking to discover just how stupid many of our elected Representatives and Senators really are.

Exclamation Anyone would be better

Firstly, let me say I am not being disrespectfull to veterans or the disabled.

In my opinion, the democrats need an amputee war hero to get elected to congress, then stand for President.

It would take quite a lot for people not to find such a candidate appealing for the job in the big chair.

Eisenhower was a very popular choice after WW2.

Anyone with a half decent education, common sense and a good moral compass would be light years ahead of the neanderthal moron who's currently flushing America's reputation down the toilet.

'Shithole' is what will be left of the USA when he's finished using it as a rag to wipe his enormous racist arse on.

Voila, I give you Tammy Duckworth, United States Senator from Illinois.

First I'd select a clever talented man or woman between 35 to 45 years who will be preoccupied about the next challenges of humanity and its own future.
A person who will renew the old standard of the American society that is too addicted in making money.

Clinton, Sanders, Trump were far too old to be President.

Default I hope Trump wins

I hope trumps wins, policies are one thing, but 8 years of Hilary or whoever banging on about glass ceilings would be too much to bear.

Which translated means "I'm running."

Stormy Daniels is so smart and funny. Can you imagine how much she will liven up the talk show circuit if the GOP tries to run Trump again in 2020?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifes...=.3629049c2be1

Now, I really do think that the Donald will be dropped kicked to the curb by then. GOP donors thinking is Tax Cuts = GOOD, Tariffs, Trade Wars and Depressions = BAD. We voting chumps really get upset with recessions, depressions and unemployment, which the business cycle has pretty much guaranteed even without Trump's trade war and diplomatic bungling. But, damn, Stormy Daniels has at last brought some levity into the shit storm.

Vanessa Trump is no dummy either. When you have five kids to take care of, it is best to get the divorce settlement in hand before the indictments and bankruptcies. Melania really ought to talk to her. Melania actually has a very pleasant smile when she is not around her husband. 18 years is a long time to put up with someone. My ex-wife only gave me 12. (She asked to try again after leaving husband #3, but enough is enough. She wasn't the only person putting up with BS.)

Oh, more on Vanessa Trump. At least one of her former schoolmates has an interesting take on her.

Default Early Posturing

IMO Michael Avenatti is deluded to think he is a viable candidate. Kamala Harris is pushing hard, too, but I thought her credentials to be Senator were awfully sketchy and for President are pretty much non-existent. She would be an upgrade over Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.

As I have noted several times, I am not receptive to more 70 & 80 year old politicians getting the job. Still, that doesn't mean any TV personality ought to be elected. I do reserve the right to support Maria Menounos. She's hot.

Plus, when Vladimir Putin lies through his teeth, her laugh is all that it will take to shut him up.

Noting how the Black vote came out for Obama and didn't for Hillary - and if otherwise the vote pattern remains similar for 2020 - whoever puts a Black on the Ballot will win - P or VP. If they don't, probably will swing Dem this time, especially if Trump is still running.

Of course, I have been wrong every time I counted him out - certainly I seem to always underestimate him.
