Thinning the garret a bit, I stumbled across this sorry thing:

How did it ever manage to enter my place?

Why in God's name would I have harboured it over years?

And yes, where is the rest of the bike?

Any similiar experiences and finds you wish to share? This is the place.

Got some of that crap and it's associated garbage lying around,
Not sure if it's better thrown on the trash or takin' it too a pawn shop

I was wrestling with the idea myself , so I have a few ideas of what i want to share
... to an embarrassing degree

Most of us are of a certain vintage where we have defunct storage media stowed safely away, just in case ....

but i wonder if any of you bother with anything similar to this daft selection I've amassed?

(Mostly) Cassette & VHS adhesive stickers

I won't bore you with the various manufacturers you may notice the branding or have used them yourself in the past

Aaah , the past...
As i said, I can't explain the bemusing reason why I've kept these - unused & some half-used ones too...
they just might come in handy one day

Upcycle it!

Mount it on your headboard so the Mrs. has something to hang onto when things get extra wild in the sack.

My house is a virtual museum of "what the hell is this crap?!" I seriously need to clean it from top to bottom and get rid of a bunch of stuff. It's on my project list of things to do for this winter. If I discover anything truly remarkable I'll try and post it.

I have two large boxes of VHS tapes and Cassette tapes. I keep avoiding throwing them out, even though deep down I know I will never use them again.

I also still have number of "Specialist" VHS tapes-But no VHS player.....

I can help there too

apart from having one in my TV set-up that is rarely used

as is the TV, DVD(s)
& 2 digiboxs

nah that's not wholy true - I do have one of them tuned in to 6music 24hours of the day and plumbed into my stereo

there are 3 other fully working ones stashed in a dusty corner at NIN-Towers

along with un-used Hi-Fi equipment

There are ex-dairy farmers a couple of hours drive away who've just walked off, as they cannot sell.
