Alot of these Playboy and especially Penthouse centerfolds were on public access shows like THE ROBIN BYRD SHOW in NYC and some counterparts in Southern Calif. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be archives of these shows anywhere, no internet club groupings, etc.

Anybody seen any of their favorite stars on a show like ROBIN BYRD ? Anybody here maybe know someone with shows on tape ?

Like bigtrain45 I'd love to see the whole set of the Brande pictorial. She's been one of those women that got etched into my mind as a kid. I'd appreciate any additional Brande postings possible

I saw a few RBs back in the day on Channel J. Usually it seemed those who were currently on the dancer circuit who were featured. Some Pets obv went this route, but I dont remember any on RB.

Here are my page scans for Brande. Sorry they are a bit crooked I was probably drunk when I did them! These are from the UK edition (Vol 9 No3) and so there is a chance that the centrefold may be slightly censored. PHUK was slower to show a girls labia than the US edition and they quite often left pictures out of a pictorial or blurred the girls bits.. I'd be interested to know if the US centrefold is clearer as this was a pretty bold shot for the time.

Great thanks to fallenangel and chas for the Brande Howard postings. I've been looking for those for YEARS. There are women and certain photo spreads that just get branded into the mind. For me, Brande Howard is one of those.

Another is Lynn Carey, POM December, 1972. There seem to be very few good scans of her photo shoot. I don't think she appeared in any other magazines.

Lynne wasn't a model but posed entirely to publicise her band. Her pictorial is interesting for a number of reasons: it has possibly the fewest nude photos of any PH pet pictorial; it has the first photo showing a pet's mound from the rear peeking from between her upper thighs and, arguably, in the picture where she is wearing the white shirt it is Phs first hint of labia on show.

Here are some more of her in singing mode, with her father (actor MacDonald Carey), acting in the film lord Love a Duck and some recent shots from a couple of years ago. She still looks good!

Wonderful girl.....super-sweet...even the other girls at bikini and other contests would say that she was a sweet person (alot of these contests are cat-and-dog fights and the girls will badmouth many of their competitors).

In an outdoor bikini contest and in a "VW Hot Rods" cover shot which were all pre-1986 she has EVEN LONGER hair. She was a little bit heavier back then (baby fat ?

) but the long hair going all the way down her back in the outdoor bikini contest was incredibly sexy (usually I don't like super-long hair but on her it looks good).

Her 'punkish' short-hair style in GELLORAMA (also with dangling earrings and arm bracelets) looks really sexy. I liked that hair style more than the traditional short haircut she showed in her POTY pictorial and the WILD BIKINIS video.
