The article means that as human being, we are free to go where we want on this planet. We potentially are free to immigrate and coming back in motherland.

I'm not glad about massive immigration too, but I can understand that there are people on this planet who want live where we both live.
We suck their natural ressources, do not help them to improve their society and you would like to let them in misery.
What if an enviromental or social disaster happened in your country and you would have to leave it to survive?
Would you like to stay in a camp like the Albanese refugees I've crossed during the Yugoslavian war?

IMO, people that we have elected during the last 70 years have not done their jobs.

How silly. Humans are animals, and one type of animal does not trespass on a similar animal's territory without consequence. Predators will fight to the death to protect their hunting territories if need be.

The Youtube incident is interesting. From various accounts I have read before this happened, they have indeed been playing games with the posters of monetized videos, and getting political as well, trying to subtly "control the narrative", as it were.

It's a classical case proving that USA is an unreliable country in question of intellectual honesty.

You have to remember a little bit more history. How many millions of men died on battlefields fighting for cases that were not theirs, thanks the unfairness of martial laws?

They were proxies fighting for elites who were... ready? Protecting their territory.

Or else elites who wanted to take someone else's territory.

I also doubt that the average Brit soldier in WW2, despite being a "proxy", really wanted Germans strutting through the streets of his home village and being forced to give the Heil Hitler salute.

Because that village was also his territory.
