apologies in advance if wrong section etc, but anyone any idea where I could sell adult magazines online , I got a slap on the wrist from ebay

ebay has a catagory for adult material, that has a sub catagory adult magazines. Its a little hard to find, but look up shop by catagories , then see look up all catagories, then way at the bottom there is a group "everything else" and in that "adult material" If you are selling adult mags, that is were you need to do it.

This makes all the diff for ebay. The previous reply assumes usa [or another country from which you can access usa ebay adult, & there are not that many; Europe NO, e.g.]. Others I know of are ebid (UK) & xhammer/exhammer (.de).

Ebid is the place to go for porn without having to gauge the lie of the land first. You can sell anything there, and I have been a buyer and seller for years now.

With eBay, it depends on your location as ConstantOgler points out. Selling any porn was strictly off-limits for eBay UK, but you can do so now - though this has come at a cost to some.

There's is a category under "Magazines" called "Men's" - and to my delight I discovered that there are quite a few Mayfairs on sale there. However, when I tried listing a special edition of FHM (a publication with no nudity) it was unceremoniously pulled for being "inappropriate". I found this weird as I had listed many issues of FHM previously over the years.

I contacted eBay, and it seems that the Men's Magazine section has indeed opened up, but it is being seriously policed - resulting in some absurd scenarios. According to their rules, you can only list certain titles - Pl@yboy, Pl@ygirl, P3nthouse and Mayfa1r. No others, and this includes those they cannot verify, such as FHM, Maxim, and the likes of Nuts and Zoo.

It effectively means that a non-nude magazine can be pulled by eBay, while a PRP-era copy of Mayfair, which includes anything up to and including pink shots - is perfectly fine.

I have some old mags I'm considering selling. My next question is, how to ship them? Does the USPS, UPS, FedEx or whoever need to see exactly what's inside? Is that content info recorded by them and perhaps sent to anyone else, such as govt. agencies? I only have published mags, so obviously they were sold legally once. Any other tips are appreciated. For example, valuation and pricing. Also, if there are other threads here at VEF about this please post or send me the links. TIA.

Sent my mags thru the post guess depends on the country of destination and how strict or how vigilant customs are. Didnt hav any probs. Biggest prob is finding a website to sell on

You can sell Pl@yboy and M@yfair on EBay now, but the best place is eBid. No restrictions.

There's also a place called "naughtybids" though I don't know how good they are. In the US you can mail mainstream adult magazines without any worries.

There is a new auction site featuring photos of some of the models appearing in this forum. It is called adultstuffonly.com. You can browse without a membership by clicking on sign in and then clicking on browse. It is a good source for identifying models
