But the phrases "carbonated beverage" or "soft drink" only occurs on restaurant menus and airplanes. Or should I say aeroplane? I've lived in Germany for fifteen years, so my vocabulary has become a bit Anglicized. I always say "trousers", for instance. It doesn't make me a bad person. |
