The penny just dropped after running cc cleaner flushing the DNS might be smart

Its fixed everything at my end except chrome which apparently has its own DNS cache

3 steps later - flush dns / socket - clear browsing data - still redirects

Uninstall me thinks

Using a 2nd unexposed browser palemoon is working though

ad-blocking & script blocking had no effect on the redirects

They seemed to operate as soon as you clicked anything on the page

Switching to Google DNS (8.8.8.8) helped here.

I too was getting redirected to a generic under construction page. Also thought the site was gone forever.. thank goodness it's not.

After these problems with site i can't access to Classic Pornstars section. After clearing Firefox cache this problem solved.

I had this kind of redirect problem today after an outside event; an untimely power cut while I was on VEF. Cut that asked me to restart my PC.

On the other hand, more way to connect me on VEF, the original site. Systematic redirection whatever the browser used; I use at least 5 whose kernels are radically different, not to mention their versions: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc. I could access it only through a free proxy (HIDEme).

Tired of anger, I did a cleanup via CCleaner, then scan malware via Spybot and, finally, a virus scan via Avast. Nothing was detected by these three classic software.

Note that I am under an old XP Home pack 3, for lack of better for the time. After these three operations that asked me not far from 2 good hours, everything is back to normal.

I do not have a reliable explanation to give except that I think that the cleaning was a key element of the good restart of the login on VEF. I still have a very strange mystery of which I do not understand the cogs.
