Treaty between KK and SE?
Somehow it was clear there must have been connections between KK and SE (look at the American actors-KK-stuff starring e. g. John Holmes and American female models, too), but I didn't know SE released KK movies labeled as SE in the U.S. of A. back then, often using the original loop's names:
Found these on the usenet. Will have to give up work and start to collect SE, too... Greetings - Luther |

Re: Treaty between KK and SE?
i also noticed these some time ago! (in the a.b.e.p.80s group)
John Holmes featured in a few KK loops (shot in Denmark), maybe that's how the contact was made.. Foud a few more. I suppose the sound was dubbed in these US versions, would love to hear that.. *

Re: Treaty between KK and SE?
Thank you for your replies! To find these (maybe some already posted on VEF??) will be a new challenge for me. Never put great interest in SE posts before, will have to crawl the board again. No chance for boredom...

Re: Treaty between KK and SE?
Hi Guys
I'm certainly no expert, and my source is what I've read on the net (usually unreliable) But my understanding was that a group of independant film crews operated in europe and specifically Denmark, these teams would hire models shoot a film, and then market these films to producers/distributors such as KK, SE, and MF. These producers would often perform post production such as editing, music and voice overs, and then market and distribute the film under their name. Which is the reason that many SE, KK, & MF films look similar and have the same actors. You've probably noticed KK has never realeased titles such as Little Sexy Eva with *T*.*T*, despite that it would surely be in their economic interest to do so. But this film was sold to MF. If any one actually knows the real story please share it |

Re: Treaty between KK and SE?
Much of the SE catalog were duplicates of KK films (and possibly others). The titles were often changed, and from what I've seen, there were slight editing differences (I had assumed that the SE films were shortened for reasons of time, film length, or some such). Also, the early SE catalog was silent, with subtitles added (the first loop in my catalog that advertises "also available in sound" is #187 "Delivery Boy" with Paul Thomas and Holly McCall). Many of the early sound loops seem to be scenes from full features (and thus filmed with sound). Many of the loops available now on video were shot silent on film with sound added years later for tape compilations.

Re: Treaty between KK and SE?
Karma to You imcgillet and Xxphd!
I noticed also that not only american loops where used by CC, but also english loops(for example those with Nicky Stanton, Michelle Shepard) and german(for example Sandra Nova, Peter Bond) and now noticed also some french loops(I donīt think that the CC-team went to Paris?). Can it be that they had sometimes problems of reaching the demand of more loops so that they bought material from America and other european countries? Some of the english loops of CC seem to be also remade with the same story-line and repeated with danish models! But thatīs okey when they use diffrent girls! ;D |
