Try clearing your browser cache.

If that doesn't work: log out. Clear your cache & cookies, and restart your browser and log back in.

I had to do that a couple times to get things running normally again.

Yes, it was a DNS issue that precipitated all of this: but the main page re-directs are most likely your browser.

I run two installs of FF: one older version for most browsing, and an up to date version for when the old version won't work [thanks, YouTube]. My up to date version had no issues with page redirects since I had never visited the forum with it.

My "User CP" leads me to the main page. My PC was restarted since then a couple of times.
What can I do?

I had same problem, the answer was to clear your browser cache as chip says above.

google how to do it for whatever browser you use.

Depends whats causing it i guess

I never got redirected to the main page from my user cp

I used palemoon and have had no issues

I uninstalled google chrome and reinstalled it - no issues

5. If its something else causing the issue like a PUP (potentially unwanted program)
or Malware - I use the 4 below when weird unexplained stuff starts occuring

rkill - kills malicious processes temporarily
