The "Who's Alive" website has just posted that Nicki Thomas (PMOM 3/77) died of breast cancer on 9/2/2009 at age 55.

Wikipedia also shows this as well.......

this is truly sad news and breaks my heart. One of my favorite adult models of all time.

So many of my favorite models, largely from the seventies (Bridgett Rollins, Pamela Jean Bryant, Missy Cleveland, and others I wish I didn't have to know) are sadly no longer with us. It's a reality check. Alas, that list continues and will continue to grow.

I posted a pic (first used for the July 1977 subscription ad) in her thread. Been posted before, but it's a new scan.

Yeah, Bridgett Rollins and Nicki Thomas passing has really crushed me greatly....I think Nicki was one of my first Pl****te crushes next to Daina House......just so sad.

I regret to tell you all that Marian Stafford has passed away recently.

She was very old and sick.

The death of the 1975 POY in January seems to have only recently become public knowledge. Her body was found on a beach near Camp Pendleton in California; she died by drowning, but she was found with a broken neck and back and it is possible that foul play, or a suicide attempt, may have been involved.

I am sorry to report the passing of beloved Playmate December 1968 Cynthia Myers. Cause of death unknown at this time. She passed away on 11/4/2011 at the age of 61.

Note that not only was Cynthia Myers in a Russ Meyer movie, but Meyer's wife Eve (PM June 1955) was killed in the well-known ground collision of 747s on Tenerife in 1977.
