I live in São Paulo city - Brazil, the city has 15 million people, the state of São Paulo has 40 million people, more people than the whole Argentina.
It's an urban city, we have beaches but is a little far, almost 40 minutes driving a car to get there. .................................................. ................................................ This picture above is classic, defines clearly how São Paulo is. In the left the poor people living in favela (ghetto) and in the right rich people. The picture is not fake. The problems: Car Traffic: This picture is the people going to the beaches, everybody goes to the beach in the same time. This is from people going to their home after work, happens every fuckin day. The metro (subway) in São Paulo at morning: A raining day: Happens specially in the summer, from January to March, March is the worse month. |

Sydney
The Bridge and the Opera House, two iconic landmarks.
"The Toaster", East Circular Quay. Built about 5 year ago, now you can't see the Opera House properly from Circular Quay any more. How can that happen? Money changes hands, I guess. It's a beautiful city, largely thanks to the natural setting of the coast and the harbour. A lot of the modern architecture is ugly, and there has been plenty of destruction of old buildings, much more so than in places like Melbourne and Adelaide. The plan in the 60's was to demolish The Rocks and build office towers, and the only reason it didn't happen was that militant unions stopped them. Here are a couple of exceptions to the Ugly Modern rule. The AMP Building, Circular Quay (1962). Very clean, stylish lines, far left looking at this photo.. Surrounded by dross, mainly. Aurora Place (2000). Architect Renzo Piano. This is (was) the Hotel Australia, 9 Martin Place. Demolished 1971. Last edited by Tmee2020; July 24th, 2010 at 03:32 AM.. |

As for The Rocks, that was great, my younger brother lived in Albert street just on the other side of the bridge, we'd walk over the bridge and go to the pubs at The Rocks, get real drunk and have a short walk home. Some good pubs down that part of town

I live in the beautiful southern city of Huntsville, Alabama. This was just a sleepy little southern town until World War II when the army opened Redstone Arsenal here. Then in 1950 Dr. Wernher von Braun was brought here and started working on the United States space program. That started the high tech industry that is still very prevalent today.
Huntsville is a very cosmopolitan city with a broad range of cultural activities, art, and biological parks so there's always something to do around here. There is minor league baseball, hockey, and arena football for the sports fan. I like it here. At a population of 180,000 is big enough to have everything you want but still has that nice small town feel also. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntsville,_Alabama

More sights , but thankfully no sounds or smells !
Had to venture out of my crypt last night and didn't get back till this morning , but what i did do was take my old camera just in case
So thanks Allah i did , otherwise i wouldn`t have been able to snap glittering images of Norwich finery Anglia Square - The one Billionth wonder of the world , just after used condoms. Taken from another angle - Although not the best angle , since that'd be a thousand feet up via a B52 bomber . Best Car Park in Norwich - Just make sure you collect your vehicles before sundown , that is if you want to retain ownership. A pedestrian parisian road with yes it's own Primark - Plus a deviously funny Virgin advert , those guys are such kidders . That girl on the right in the cut offs was super hot - Tried to work out how to get a shot of her front without getting arrested. Ended up with this one instead (Note to self must do better ). Although i shouldn't bad mouth the place too much since it's streets are indeed paved with gold Not kidding i found a whole £1 , which as we know if i lived in China would keep me in rice and roof tiles for an entire month Erm , do excuse the sweaty palm though there were a lot of women about By the way , yes i know i`m wearing a ring on my finger. Look nothing funnies going on ok , i just happen to like wearing various rings on my wedding finger . Because it makes me feel safer with the knowledge that no actual band would ever be able to fit on there. Well there just isn't the room Also that's one of my favourites , it's a mixture of Sliver and volcanic ash. Bought it four and a bit years ago near Avenida Libertador in Caracas

Anglia Square always felt to me as the sort of place where muggers need bodyguards; anyway, I live nearer the other end of the A146 and have no city to call my own. The nearest big town is Lowestoft, but it's a dump; no wonder the Vulcan wasn't at the Air Show last year, perhaps people were afraid it had orders to bomb the place instead

The misadventure continues
What`s Norwich really like you ask
It's a quaint timeless place - Which is why some technological advancements are still frowned upon. Has great community spirit - Hence the famous shared Towel , although some do worry about the extravagance of having a whole towel for just one entire city. Modern facilities - Which is why you`ll be glad of that towel once you've taken a refreshing dip in the local pool. Handy amenities - Like this up to date Bicycle rack. Helpful warning signs - Such as for properties that have once again become haunted. A varied cinematic experience - Provided you`re under five , or enjoy the music of the Cliff-meister. Rated restaurants - Just don't eat in this one since it failed to receive a single star when it came to hygiene ( True story)

Suppose I should buy a camera. Then I could post some pics of Belfast. I live just round the corner from where Van Morrison was born. Not much to see apart from a plaque. Cyprus Avenue is nice, and so are the property prices

Was in my hometown today,
I'll make any excuse too go down there, even for an hour, So I'll take this over the big city hussle and bussle of Melbourne any day Just a friendly place, ain't nothing like walking into a shop and knowing the owners, walking down the street and running into a familiar face any day of the week. Even a good meal down the waterfront Get me the hell outta Melbourne
