The new Doctor Who

The BBC are announcing who will play the new Doctor Who this evening.
I was curious about who fellow VEFers would like as DW.
All suggestions welcome.
Mine?
If he can fit in around his Modding duties:
MaxJoker
Or if we want a George Lazenby:
Estreeter
Failing those two, I suppose we could try Idris Elba.

How about Daniel Craig? Presuming he can find time to fit it in around his work as Bond.

I think it is time to bring some manliness back to the Doctor.

I think you mean regenerate. What I want to know is that many years ago Terry Nation I think it was came up with the idea, along with producer John Nathan-Turner that the Doctor could only regenerate 12 times so what will happen a few years down the line when Capaldi has had enough-the end of the Doctor completely? Or will they be forced to re-write the rule book?
