It's really not hard at all. When I was in Madrid a couple of months ago, all of the young ladies wanted to be my girlfriend. They would line up Calle Montera just off Grande Via and Puerta del Sol to tell me how much they wanted me and what they would do to me if only she were my girlfriend.

It generally is easier for women, that's a given. But by the same token I'd say that those guys that keep having trouble are probably trying just a little too hard.

Years ago several friends used to meet in a big city pub.

One of my mates used to attract women like flies. Some of us stayed close to him as we would have a chance with his leavings. He had it all. You see people on screen in the Cinema that walk into a bar and all the women are interested. Well this guy had that.

He eventually hated it and on his 24th birthday came out of the closet.

I used to wish I could go into that closet and get what he had before he was 24.

As for this theme of this thread I have seen it work for both sexes but more so for the Male.

The same thing can be achieved by us straight fellows, of course - just by simply not giving too much of a shit. Yep, not giving a shit is not good form and trying to hard makes you look like an arse - but striking a perfect balance will get you results every time.

I used to try to impress when I was younger, but when I visualise myself doing that now I'd probably think "what an absolute prat" - the sort of guy would elicit sympathy from any sane right-thinking girl at best.

After a while I just acted as if I didn't care that much, and given that they were not being obviously hit upon it would stoke a degree of interest - more so when I would engage in an animated conversation (I am good at this, admittedly) and not make a point of showing off. Somehow, they'd just want to be part of the banter because they probably felt that they were missing out. Well, that's the theory at least.

I never found the need to use chat-up lines - they'd just involve themselves in the conversation, and then either connect or disconnect when things got interesting. Naturally, my technique worked on more intelligent girls, which for me was a win/win - I don't think this would ever work with a cute but dim type as she would never have been drawn into the conversation in the first place.

As such this technique was not too great down the village local, but a master stroke in the university bar - when I went to uni I suddenly felt like a chick magnet, which was pretty weird for me as I am something of a geek with a collection of weird and wacky opinions.

I then figured that if I could have so much success in this field without even trying, the method clearly works - and I would have no great pity on those guys far better looking than me who would complain bitterly about their situation.

I can say that the technique still works, but these days I would never act on it. Mrs Shark would nail my tongue to the wall!

I have an executive male friend who quit his high paying job in the city and moved to a quiet sleepy town in the hills so he could get away from being constantly hit on by women everytime he stepped out in public to socialise.

So they do face rejection but you dont see or hear about it.

Sorry but your reply is totally wrong. This guy was straight. He attracted women like you could not believe. Problem was his mates got pushed out by other hangers on, as a result he got in with a "select crowd of people" who used him for what he was. "A babe magnet". He needed someone to look after him. Regretfully his mates had moved on, including myself. The person who helped him was a, ( I cannot say what we called them then on this Forum but now we call them) shemale. They lived together for 5 years that I know about then moved abroad to Holland together.

Probably dead now.

Ah, my assumption was based on the phrase "coming out of the closet", which tends to suggest only one thing.
