Default Editing Movies with Windows Movie Maker

Hello, hope anyone can help me solve a matter with Editing in Windows Movie Maker.
For my videos and clips i often use AVS Video Editor. When i put these clips which i often download in a Frame of 640x480 in Windows Movie Editor and use the same parameters or even higher in Editor, the movie or clip Always comes out with a smaller Frame. In the details the technical stuff still reads the same ,but the Fram is Always cut down.
Does anyone know if i can adjust this in Movie Maker ?

Sorry that I am not responding to you with a solution, I don't think it has one (or at least not a concrete, satisfactory one). To my knowledge (cause I used to use it), Windows Movie Maker is basic as basic can get, and you cannot change aspect ratios or frame rates. You can just choose to have a video come out 16:9 or 4:3, and they automatically determine an average ratio and frame rate for both. You say you have AVS, I'm not familiar with it, but have you ever tried Wondershare? I don't know why most people don't have this, it is the BEST program I have ever come across to suit your every video needs. Editing, cropping, aspect ratios, frame rates, it has it all.
