1fichier appears to be heading down the path of deciding that it might be
best for them to "entice" users to purchase premium plans, rather than
go out of business, and I wouldn't piss on mega if they were on fire.

Don't assume that everyone that uses a host you don't prefer, uses
it for monetary gains. I don't and it makes me care even less when people
continually say that. You also might give thought to the fact that not all
uploaders wander around the net, "stealing" others folks uploads to turn
around and upload to their host of choice. These movies, videos , cut segments
from larger videos, do not magically appear from thin air. They are transferred
from something that was purchased, and with older things, often times at
a pretty price, after them waiting weeks to get it after paying that pretty
price. But that's just the beginning really. It then has to be transferred
from that source, converted to some sort of digital output, then......
depending on the size of it, hours spent uploading it to the host of their
choice, for someone to download for nothing other than the time it takes
to download it.

I've downloaded one thing my entire life that took more than a week, and
that was from a torrent, whose uploader was on dial up. I've uploaded files
up to just under FF's 5 gig limit before, then turned around and downloaded
it myself as a free user, and it downloaded in less than a day. I say free user
and not anonymous user, in which there is a big difference....so......don't see
how that could be a concern.

Didn't mean to sound pissy, or to imply that the OP, may have said things
that he didn't, just giving an overall opinion of what I happen to think.
