The theme and in fact lead character that best sums me up day to day .Not just because i killed my entire family , got institutionalized , stopped speaking , got taught how to drive by an orderly , escaped and went on the hunt for my one surviving family member ,or have been shot and burnt by a doctor either .As that`s merely coincidence .

The music written by Bernard Herrmann for the Martin Scorsese film Taxi Driver is, beyond any doubt, some of the most beautiful I've ever heard. The theme I choose for myself is that mesmerizing alto sax melody, which winds its way throughout the film. Elegant, sublime, hopeful, poignant and affecting, with just a hint of the lonliness at the heart of the film, the kind of lonliness (and despair) I sometimes feel. What an ineffable piece of writing by Herrmann, who died in 1975, on the night he completed the score. His score was nominated for an Academy Award, and it will continue to live on in our hearts and minds. The film itself won an Academy Award for best picture, but it wouldn't have been nearly as great without this music, which is all at once tender and profound.

My theme is "Pursuit of the pimpmobile" by Isaac Hayes (R.I.P) , from
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5VfmpV7tMo
Another one must be the theme from Jacques Tati`s film "Mr. Hulot`s holiday".

This threads more or less died on it`s arse , which was expected as they can`t all be decent , or at least 99 percent of them can`t

Anyway have decided on yet another theme for myself , although that of course is subject to change at any given time . Still it`s just an excuse to post some slightly off the wall spooky tunes , so all good clean fun really
