Yes, it does sound like a reality show, that's for sure. But this was actually before the advent of "reality" shows (the ultimate misnomer), and ostensibly could be taken more seriously.

Another 'woman's cycle', for sure. They want both, the ideal, and what works best. I figure they shuttle back and forth securing all the leads and then must settle into the only thing they were supposed to have ever wanted.
