Ah, yeah, but isn't James Gunn a major reason why the franchise has made that crazy money?

Kinda risky changing the creative talent behind the first two movies and installing someone new.

I dunno, I guess James Gunn can be overrated, but that wasn't what the critics were saying when the movies came out. From what I read, he has already written the third episode. But without his directing and writing future scripts, it would seem to me that they are risking this franchise.

Kinda like how The Walking Dead sucks now under Scott Gimple.

okay, be that studio head that keeps him on after this and another story comes out and you will probably be waiting for him in the unemployment line. Sometimes in that game risk avoidance can be just as important as earning potential.

I give you Josh Hader. The all star pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers is also now under fire for racist, homophobic tweets he made in 2011. It's hard to believe that there's anyone who is high profile whose manager/agent hasn't scrubbed their twitter account back to the beginning.

Anyway, he was not fired. He was not suspended. After making the obligatory tearful apologizes to anyone who would listen, as long as he attends a series of diversity training classes, all is forgiven.

Maybe James Gunn wishes he were a major league baseball player instead.

Come on, now, Hader made those tweets when he was a 17 year high school kid. He apologized and noted that he has grown up and is embarrassed by those tweets. He's getting sensitivity training.

But 7 to 10 year old stuff, I dunno. The reaction seems over the top.

I am waiting for some tweets about dick sizes and males' sexual performances by prominent women to be broadcast and even things up.
