Aperitif soon as we are Saturday.

However, I'm pretty strong, since I stopped drinking, so I enjoy in juices, teas and various soft non-alc drinks.
Currently hot chocolate is served.

Today's drink is Utenos Porter from Lithuania. It is a reddish brown in color and provides a good sized head which slowly disappears. Alcohol content of 6.8%. Tastes of raisin, coffee and chocolate. It has a medium amount of bitterness, and carbonation. Just good overall.

Just got back from our local. We had a fair intake of draught Grolsch (me) and a half bottle of Prosecco (her) and a decent lunch. Roast Pork for Mrs, and big juicy Gammon steak with cheese topping and two added fried eggs and a side of cheesy garlic bread for me.

Now for Race of Champions from Miami for me and a late afternoon nap for her. I doubt she will surface until after I leave for work tomorrow morning.

PS the pub took out Kronenbourg and put in Grolsch just before Christmas.

The eggs were a minute late arriving on a side plate. I had to remind the staff.

Today's drink is another beer in the English family of Young's beers and ales. This one is Young's Luxury Double Chocolate Stout. Pours a black color with a thick head. Alcohol content 5.2%. Tastes of chocolate, coffee and malt. Not too bitter. Excellent taste.
