Was not judging in the least. Just saw a bit about it in a movie I was watching. There is no ethnicity on earth except possibly Eskimos who have/has not persecuted or denigrated others.

I'm not really knowledgeable enough to have an opinion on the issues facing our our indigenous population, but I do think that you will never improve your life until you stop playing the victim and take responsibility for yourself.
As an aside, some years ago, a Melbourne University conducted DNA testing for the general public. I apparently have ancient Roman ancestors amongst others. I wonder if I can be sued for the invasion of Britannia?

The problem with that is that minorities are not necessarily held down by being a victim but are held down by those who do the victimizing.
I was in Sydney in the early 70's and the public phone booths had "abos keep out" on them. Was it a racist group or the city doing it?? I have no idea.

It's a lot more complex than that. Probably too complex to go into, but we don't have a patronising system where 'whitey' tells the 'blackfella' what's best for him. Indigenous communities run themselves and there are plenty of stories of nepotism and corruption and community leaders benefiting themselves and their families at the expense of their own groups.

Again I don't know. Different times and even today, you'll still find plenty of racism. But I was in a small town in the American South in the late 1990's and I was refused service by a diner owner who saw me kicking a footy with some black kids in a park. He actually came out of the kitchen area behind the counter, took away my glass of water and told me, 'we don't serve >insert offensivewordhere< lovers in here.'

Why does Australia export that nasty Foster's beer to the U.S. Are you trying to poison us. In my opinion Foster's lager is one of the worst tasting beers that I have ever had. To me it tastes as if just before every bottle comes out of the brewery some one pisses into the bottle and then it is capped, and then boxed, with big letters on the box saying: For shipment to the U.S.!!
