The following book covers are credited to "Hanicki" by Fleuve Noir, a rather serious publishing house.



I'm posting that because I remember to have seen the first of the photos in a US or UK magazine scan thread, but can't remember which one (just sure it's not OUI — already checked). So if anyone knows where in VEF this picture is, we could check if it is credited and maybe get something interesting.

Thanks to bourschwa, we know the Diane Fullerton pictorial above was not credited to Sarah Joyce as expected but to Just Marr, another alias of Serge Jacques.
Looking further in Fullerton thread, I eventually find in Cream Cheese this other pictorial of her, credited to Sarah Joyce in Club International:


I know that isn't of great help, but I am afraid that doubt will remain about the right attribution of the Sarah Joyce alias, first because it has been used by two very close photographers, and perhaps at the same time. I remember having red somewhere that Claudie used it for 4-5 years.

Talking about Serge and his aliases, it seems that trying to identify every of them is quite an impossible task: his pictures are everywhere, printed in every classic publication ; his style has been imitated by others, as himself had copied other's styles, so the risk is real to end up seeing his work in every anonymous photo and every picture credited to some phony name. And this may be that kind of sergiomania that made me check if Bélorgey and Jacques could be a common identity, until enough clues clearly state that is not the case . The Hanicki case has more entanglements then is more complicated to investigate, so I will keep it open for the time.

Below is Rosemary England as Jada Schmidt in Ugens Rapport (Dk) no.46, 1981, photog. Peter Flodquist, thanks to linefeet. Also in that same issue is Jo Peace as Joami, photog. uncredited.

Unfortunately there are thickets in this jungle obscuring the view... or do I simply mean thick-heads. The name Tiny Montgomery recurs in various other issues of CIUK, for example the sets of Raquel and Tatum from CIUK 06-09, 1977-09 here, thanks to sooperlicious. Spanner in the works, however, is that a different model in that same issue, Cher, is photographed in the same setting as above, but the photog. credit for that set is given to Fanny. That set also shows another feature frequently seen in this setting: the patterned cylindrical stand hiding behind the model.

There is also the possible complicating factor of photographic agencies or distributors. Here is Jo Peace as Jane in Supergirls aus aller Welt no.17, 1992, photog. Marcel Studios, thanks to svga. It is unclear whether Marcel Studios represents a photographer, or perhaps more likely a re-sale agency?

As I wrote in a recent post in the Serge Jacques thread, my opinion is that "Fanny" is a generic photographer alias, that can be found printed by various UK magazines on works of very different styles. It is obviously difficult -or even impossible- to prove it in an irrefutable way, but I think that could explain some of your difficulties when trying to solve the puzzle.

The balcony and cane chair once more, from Feigenblatt no.05, 1978, thanks to beutelwolf. The model presumably named Sirikit is once again Judith Jane, see earlier here. The model in the red shirt and shoes and presumably named Gunda is Puck Easton, several of whose photographic sessions are credited in other mags. to Hans Lars[s]on or Rupert Daines.

Oddly though, Gallery seemed to credit other sets to Hans Larsson, e.g. Babette in Gallery, 1977-02, so if it is an aka then it's an inconsistent one.
