I'm afraid I disagree, there is no funny side. It's one of the lowest, slimiest forms of cheating and it needs stamping out by the FA issuing retrospective bans to the culprits. Really makes my blood boil. Cheers, Dumbassgo.

Diving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Suarez??????????????
I've got to apologise for Gareth Bale this week. He goes down like Ginola did, and claims he's so fast that the slightest touch....blah blah!! But there was no touch from Guzan! He also recovers miraculously from life threatening knocks all over the pitch. Has anyone else noticed this season, that I think he's had his ears pinned back after the 'monkey's head' songs at Stevenage last season. Latest update on AVB jury still out (same bad habits at Panathinaikos this week) football still questionable after the Villa win. No goals scored so far this season at home in the 1st half???? Sunderland and Villa's tactics are killing the game. They have BOTH hardly had a shot at goal between them this season??? Poor old Norwich still too naive for their own good and Southampton for that matter. Looks like the usual suspects starting to take closer order at the top though!!! |

Saw the Bale incident on MOTD2, funny yeah but wouldnt have been if the ref had bought it.
From what I saw Southampton were in control for most of the match, then had a crazy few minutes when they nearly self destructed. As for Spurs mate, they are steadily improving but like you, im still unsure of AVB |

About time these fools who do interviews have the replays on hand and ask for the managers view after watching it.
Seems to be this line drawn in the sand where they wont say a bad word about any of their players is a load of complete bollocks If the divers are to be stopped bans need to be given out If Suarez has any brains he'll stop trying to milk every situation because NOW even when he should get a penalty, there have been several, they dont give it because hes the boy who cries wolf every game in their eyes. As for Pulis calling for a ban maybe Rodgers should be calling for Huth to be banned for stamping on Suarez. Was as blatant as Balotelli on Parker last year. These things happen in the blink of an eye and could all be cleared up by simply reviewing every game on video and handing out yellows, reds etc Last edited by buttsie; October 8th, 2012 at 09:31 AM.. After yesterday's result against Spurs. I'm wondering if Villa boss Paul Lambert is now joint favourite with Mark Hughes to be the first premier League manager to get the sack.

As a lover of the beautiful game I find Stoke absolutely obnoxious to watch. How anyone could pay to watch them is beyond me. Even West Ham under Allardyce are playing a degree of football. Last edited by Markus R; October 8th, 2012 at 08:44 AM.. |

Nigel Adkins (Southampton - 2/1 at William Hill) is second and third is Chris Hughton (Norwich - 5/1 at Ladbrokes). Then come Michael Laudrup (Swansea), Brian McDermott (Reading) and Sam Allardyce (West Ham) - all at 12/1. The bookies feel Paul Lambert is relatively safe, offering 16/1, alongside Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Mancini.

Harry for Rangers!!
Queen's Park that is. (QPR not Queen's Park) Did you get ALL that? I wouldn't be surprised if 'Arry is waiting for the nod from the 'Super???Hoops'
Lambert is a tosser for thinking a career move UP is going from Tweeting Canaries to Aston Vanilla! Sorry to disrespect ailing Villa. But I had to suffer Villa fans ribbing US about having never won the 'European Cup' We ain't allowed in it EVEN if we qualify legitimately BITTER? Moi? |

I detest all the simulated dives attempting to get a member of the opposition red carded or a penalty for free. Clubs do nothing about it, while most managers come down with Wenger vision when confronted about an incident involving there team, but always see what the opposition did, Pulis is not alone in being a hypocrite.
The FA taking retrospective action is pointless, if the rest of the footballing world continues to do nothing, it's like cutting of your nose to spite your face. FIFA need to take a lead, but with most things, all they ever do is pay it lip service. For the forseeable future it will be down to bleary eyed refs to attempt to get it right, while we continue to complain about it. Last edited by victor meldrew; October 8th, 2012 at 12:36 PM.. |
