Because Honey Wilder retired from adult films around 1988.

Honey Wilder is among my favourites of the period, she was very sexy & rather a good actress with terrific comedy skills to boot. She brought a quirkiness to her roles that always made her a welcome addition to a film.

She actually transitioned into a very successful career as a set decorator on mainstream films & TV under her real name. She seems to keep the two aliases separate so, out of respect, I won't mention it here. It's kind of an open secret & a little light Googling will bring her up.

I can totally understand wanting to keep some disconnect between the two. While I don't look down on pornography at all & attach no stigma to its performers, many others do with evangelical zeal & frequently use a person's past in adult films as a stick to beat them with.

I say all the best to her in her current life!

Well I lightly Googled, and you're correct. Found her name, even found a youtube video with that name doing something with set decorating. And yep, it was her, no doubt about it. Even though she's aged a bit, it's her and recognized her voice as well. Wish her only the best.
