Adult cartoon concept

I was thinking of telling the story of page 3, how it came about and the girls through an adult comics. I have a story written up. Does anyone think this could work?

Basically it's about a photojournalist Dave who starts for a tabloid newspaper in the mid 70's. He is rubbish at doing news and sport photography. While his boss is giving out to him at a team meeting. Showing how he missed all the big moments in the cup final. One of the people talks about the page 3 girl in the opposition newspaper. So his boss decides he can do that until they find something better. At the start he is really nervous and all the page 3 girls are models. One day a model doesn't turn up and he struggles to find a replacement. One of the work experience girls says her friend says she's would love to do it. She works at an office and is just a normal girl next door. Enter Linda lucardi. He shoots her in her secretary clothes with her baps out. The editor doesn't check it and just prints. The boss loses the plot that Dave is so unprofessional to shoot a normal girl and in her work clothes he fires him. Linda gets sacked from her job. In the meantime she becomes a huge hit with the punters. Everyone is talking about the page 3 girl. Loads of letters arrive into the newspaper looking for more of her. They have to persuade Dave to come back. He can't find Linda for a bit so decides to run a competition to get the girl next door and is given a budget for locations and wardrobes. Page 3 girls start to become huge celebs. .........the plan would be follow both the photographer and the page 3 like and go through all the greatest page 3 girls how they became starts and their lifestyle. How feminism tries to take it down etc.

Imagine someday this could become a tv series and we get to cast the new Linda lucardi, Maria whittaker or sam fox.
