I guess it's fair to assume that less scenes (that were actually filmed) have also been photographed. And some photographs were most probably only used for promotion purposes (boxcovers etc.) and did not make it to the magazine the story was printed in (and probably not even to the loop). This seems to be pretty common in the bizz.
To make it even more complicated, nearly everything has been re-released since the 70's/80's in numerous mags and on video. So I wouldn't be that surprised if they managed to slip in 1 or 2 'new' pics somewhere ...

Of course, being the completists that we are, we need to have every pic and every scene ever filmed/photographed. Collecting rules!

Concentrating on the CC Corp: i once found a short clip (a ± 30 sec scene) from a well known CC loop on Usenet. To my surprise, a part of that clip/scene (about 18 sec) was not in the CC Bestsellers compilation tape version.
The Usenet clip has German dubbed audio, so I suppose it was ripped from the original Super8 film. I can think of no other explanation.

Creating a kind of hypothesis, I wonder how many Super 8 CC loops actually have a longer duration than their videotape versions..

I think you're right. Later compilations might have been slightly cut for whatever reason (a damaged master tape seems to be the most likely reason), but the time-difference probably only runs into seconds.
It is very likely that the very 1st release of the 8mm tape would be the one to look for. Yes.

In the past weeks I tried very hard to find info about the 8mm's on the net, but I couldn't find anything. There just have to be collectors who are showcasing their stuff on the net, because that's what most collectors do: they show off their collection. Although the fact that it's porn might scare them off. But on the other hand, because it's vintage and reached something of a cult status, that might take it out of the taboo-scene. I don't know. But I would really like to read more about all different releases and see the covers of all those 8mm's!

I think some master reels/tapes were copied & subsequently edited in order to get like 8 loops on a 60 Minutes video cassette..
