Making a scene from a movie.

Hello All.

I'm not sure if this has been covered but, is there in existence a guide to removing a scene from a movie.

Also, if the scene is inter-cut with another scene is there a way of cutting the unwanted scene out and merging the parts together to make a new edited scene.

Any help would be appreciated.

No worries!

I worked out how to do it by myself.

Used latest version of VLC player to record the clips I wanted and merged them in Windows Movie Maker.

Dead straight forward, I used the tutorials on You Tube.

Should work for anyone else.

I use Avidemux editor, it is free and also has other uses such as putting sound back into synchronisation and frame-by-frame advance with save/image to capture those quick nip slips!

I'd use a lossless video editor, Windows Movie Maker is a bad decision.
