I enjoyed - and still do - reading about women who got fucked by two or more men gangbang stories really turned me on. These type of stories seemed to appear more often in Fiesta and Escort magazine. The Fiesta letters always seemed to be longer and better written. Escort letters were often quite short with little description. I found these type of letters more exciting if written by the woman - the thought of a real woman debauching(?) herself...great if it happened by chance.

The last "prize" I received for one of these was a set of three mags, out of date and not ones I would choose. Disappointing.

I always thought that the readers letters were bullshit - and given that the likes of Alastair Campbell were involved back in the day that it probably true. But after I had a few interesting sexual encounters myself I began to wonder if some of them might have been true.

I just posted a story myself here, inspired by another discussion. I could have (and could still) send it to a magazine, and to be honest if I read it myself I wouldn't believe it.

I have written a couple of more general letters that have actually been published, two in Club International and one more recently in Barely Legal.

There used to be an interview section in Mayfair - I think it was called 'Quest' - where they would interview anonymous women abut sexual experiences they'd had. I remember thinking it was very believable at the time - although it was written in a very pretentious style, and always seemed to involve young professionals who worked in the City and drove XR3I's!

I see that most posts are from the UK. My two cents from America. Back in the day (2001 onward a bit) I wrote letters to a publisher based in Teaneck, New Jersey. The company produced a string of digest sized magazines full of letters by readers. I don't think they still publish.

The pay rate was $30 for "short" letters of 3-5 pages, with "long" letters up to 7 or 8 pages paying a whopping $75. I thought that since the long letters paid out over twice as much for not quite twice the length, those would be the better option. It didn't work out that way. It's harder to come up with a good plot and story line to fill 2,000 words of porn. When I filed my income taxes I had to declare my income. I called my part-time self-employed job "freelance writer" instead of "smut peddler."

After three years I got burned out. There were only so many permutations I could churn out. The male homosexual porn paid nearly twice as much as the straight or bi-female letters. I never could bring myself to write as a first person male character anything like, "his cock in my mouth." It squicked me.

Now, $100 for a five-page letter just might be enough to overcome my reluctance to write male gay porn. We've all got a price!
