I know, It`s not too fresh idea to post Heino`s album-cover again and again. God knows how many silly threads at silly forums have made laugh from it, thousands of guys have found it and will find, many-many times.
Here it is again, re-posted by me, it has been posted few pages earlier to this thread: "Those glasses, those glasses! Har-har!" "Now let me introduce you a serious challenger, first time in history of blahblahblah." I found this from one blog. I was searching records of this very great funk/groove-band from Benin, T.P. Orchestre Poly-Rythmo, and did find this, It`s superb record, I really love african funk, but records like this are impossible to find, so I downloaded it. Maybe after this post Heino could get a well earned rest as Nahounou steps into his boots!

Nice! Maybe a new thread idea? Spot records from pornmovies and photos!
"Girls with records". It`s things like this, which make this forum so cool!

Not posted a pic of it, as quite frankly it's as dull as ditchwater, but the Durutti Column's debut album, "The return of the Durutti Column" was originally issued as a 12" vinyl record with an outer sleeve made of sandpaper. Factory Records (it had to be THEM didn't it) boss, Tony "Anthony H" Wilson said that the idea was simply that the record, when displayed in a rack in a record shop, would "fuck up anything it came into contact with."
Whether or not the same can be said of anyone who actually listened to the music has not been recorded

These album threads have got to be the most difficult ones to ever check for duplications , tried doing so just now but developed a bleeding cataract (Is that normal ?) . Still this`s nothing to the damage i`d inflict on myself if i played any tracks from these classic albums i bet , although Eddie Peabody`s one looks like it may be strangely soothing

Some of those easy listening albums that you could pick up at Woolies had some pretty naff covers, you know the stuff I mean like 'Non-stop Hammond organ party a go-go' and 'The Mike Scrote singers sing your favourite chart toppers' .

It`s time to revive this thread. Easy listening and Hammond is so yesterdays news, newest of the new in cool things like this is Scandinavian gospel-records, very bizarre.
I was at Tampere ("big" city in Finland, famous for fanatic ice-hockey people and black blood sausage.) few weeks ago, had an awful lot of bags to carry with me, so I lost the opportunity to buy copies of finnish gospel-LPs, but I`ll do it in future, not for listening, only to prove that I`m unique, just like everybody else. Here`s a favourite, It`s in english "Gospel carvers", but they do cover-songs, as you might have guessed, well, maybe they carve religious sculptures at their gigs, I ever had guts to go and check their live, maybe there`s stoning too. |
