I gotta disagree slightly with your analysis. I think we grew of age looking at these women from the 80's and 90's and they will always be - to us the older crowd - the most attractive porn stars - basically cuz we grew up with them in our minds.

Some of the new Eastern European porn starlets are just as attractive as my favorites from the 80's. I am thinking of Christina Jolie and Kristy Klenot to name a few. All natural - and damn gorgeous to boot.

It is because of many factors. All I can say is from my small posts. I still remember covers and certain girls like yesterday. Also I think it was more rarer to see such things comapared today. With the internet land you can see and anything which after a while like most porn becomes stale but the girl next door look is still the best for me but now they do the lads mags and appear on big brother.

Most modern porn IMO is aimed at the 20-something age group. I haven't bought a magazine for a while but most of the movies now feature blaring rock music, women with garish tattoos everywhere and don't get me started on all this "rough sex" and "gagging" stuff that seems to be flavour of the month, especially in the US.

My golden era was 1984 to 1995 (from when I first started buying mags to when I more or less stopped.

Again, I'm one of the younger ones on here, so I'd say my 'golden age' was about 97/98 to 2002/03, which coincides with the period I went out and bought porno mags, rather than just checked it out on the internet.

I can show you much old porn that is useless and a lot more modern that is useless. Today there is quantity... anyone can shot a flick--it doesn't mean it will have the mind-boner quality. I do agree that a lot of todays chicks look and perform and are being told to perform the same. It's part of globalization.

I too have come across these ugly modern DVDs where there is all that senseless spitting and fisting and huge dildos etc. But there where ugly films in the past with huge ugly dildos and women with armpit hair that looked like beasts--not my definition of femininity. What I am trying to say is that there is still today good porn--but you have to search really hard for it. If that kind of modern porn that perhaps amounts to only 5% doesn't do it for you, then I am sorry to say that you are indeed getting older. Shemale flicks of the past were non-existant or crap compared to what there is out there today. Same goes with other "fetishes" out there, for example foot fetishism--it was non-existant in the old days. One the other hand boobs fetishism I believe was better in the old days--there was no silicon. There is good and bad staff in every "porn" decade... don't despair.
