I don't really think that some one who owns a gun(s) and has liberal leanings can be that far to the left but more middle of the road on some issues. Gun control being one of them. Of course I have been wrong in the past and will continue it into the future I expect.

I do generalize Malibu with Clueless and other than Orange County, think that Southern California is full of liberals. I don't know anything about the politics of Pink and Shannon Doherty - the others I have never heard of before. I am guessing that being pro gun would make them as popular as I am here at this site. LOL - so true.

I'm gonna go all Captain Obvious and say that maybe not all people are on the extreme outer ends on the gun issue.

There are some liberal gun owners on the gun sites I frequent, however they are drowned out by very rude, closeminded far rightists. Reading the opinions on this site are much more interesting to me. The depth of knowledge here constantly surprises me. The moderators here do a good job of keeping a civil discussion afloat. Not so much at the other sites.

(a) Banned Hazardous Products.—Notwithstanding section 3(a)(5)(E) of the Consumer Product Safety Act (15 U.S.C. 2052(a)(5)(E)), the following shall be considered banned hazardous products under section 8 of such Act (15 U.S.C. 2057):
(2) An assault weapon parts kit.
(2) the term “assault weapon parts kit” means any part or combination of parts designed and intended to enable a consumer who possesses all such necessary parts to assemble a semiautomatic assault weapon;
(4) the term “semiautomatic assault weapon” means— (A) a semiautomatic rifle or semiautomatic shotgun that has the capacity to accept a detachable ammunition feeding device; or (B) a semiautomatic pistol that has— (i) the capacity to accept a detachable ammunition feeding device; and (ii) any one of the features described in subsection (b);

It also bans the advertising or online discussion of such items.
