Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 121

Imageavenue locks up smart TV's. Now it looks like they have lost half of the pictures posted. Why not just go with reliable hosts that don't ad bomb?

Maybe I'm missing something here.

every time i open a imagevenue stored pictorial... there is every time a child porn! link???? i think that they have solve that issue?! someone who had the same problem?

Run a malware scan on your system. It sounds like you've caught something.

when I click on imagebam pics on VEF I have recently noticed that their ads contain kiddie porn; is this a case of them being neglectful, or a case of malware infection on my machine - not noticed this with the other image hosts?

Plenty have said the same things about imagevenue

I'm yet to see any of these accusations actually end with any real evidence

Most of the time its simply 18+ year old models who have the bodies of young teens
The crack down on under age models being used years ago closed millions of sites

Most websites now come with this disclaimer at the bottom

18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement
All models depicted on this website are at least 18 years old.

The only hint of under age models being used is non-nude sites

Peddlers of Real kiddie porn dont advertise their location for obvious reasons
so hijacking an imagehosts advertising sounds implausible

Bottom line is Ads are third party controlled - VEF has no say

- block them if they offend

Using a downloader of some sort, whether it be a browser add-on like Image Host Grabber or DownThemAll or some external program, bypasses the whole problem of image host ads. I routinely go for months at a time without actually opening an image host page in the browser while downloading hundreds of files from them every day. This also helps avoid the occasional piece of malware that tries to sneak in via those self-same ads as well as simply being easier than clicking on individual links.

No, definitely kiddie porn. But it was a malware issue affecting my chrome browser, and strangely it only showed with imagebam. Needed to uninstall/install chrome to get rid of it. A bit strange, because I had no add-ons to chrome installed, but the clue that I had malware was the "updates disabled by adminstrator" thing.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem that I am presently having with imgbox??

When first going on to imgbox I find that I can upload a first group/set of pics with no problems, but then when I try to upload a second/next batch of pics they will not upload, and I receive an "Error - No pics uploaded" message following the attempted upload!

This has been occurring for the past several days!
I find that if I wait 5-10 minutes my next batch of pics will often upload, but then the very next attempt will again fail and I must again wait another 5-10 minutes before trying to upload another batch of pics!

I can instantly tell when the problem is occurring and when the upload is going to fail by the numbers info in the brackets above behaving erratically and not as they would during a normal upload.

Does anyone have any idea of what's gong on -- and is this happening to anyone else??

Yep, have been for days

I'm guessing server overload or server problems
