She rarely worked with guys other than her husband Derek, but she had some solid chemistry with Jon Dough. My two favorite scenes of hers are both with Jon in Raquel Released and Luna Chick.

I have a theory on this.

First, Racquel was a woman to caress, not spank.

Early in her career when she was working with her husband exclusively for B/G I do think she "got in to it," so to speak.

In her second film, "Separated," she ends one scene just overcome and shaky and cries out whimpering after the sex has stopped "I can't stop coming!"

Also, in "Sea of Love" Derek Lane, her husband, receives a blow job when he's holding her upside down.

But consider they likely did somewhere in the neighborhood of 75 scenes together, give or take a few, and what married sex often becomes. To this point after 1992 very few scenes she filmed with Derek were one-on-one. They were usually menages.

From personal experience I can tell you at a strip club appearance, when you were getting your picture taken with her, he took the photo, he made sure your hands were only on her shoulders and not around her waist as is commonplace in such photos.

I don't blame him, but can you see then where he might then lay down the gauntlet to the men who might be working with her that they aren't to go Rocco Siffredi on her?

My favorites-

With Sharon Kane in "Lace." I've theorized it may have been the first time Racquel ever had sex with a woman, on film or off, and though Sharon doesn't go down on Racquel the way Sharon seduces Racquel is amazing. She's totally young and innocent and give me that over "fuck me hard" any day.

With Asia Carrera and Tara Monroe in "Secrets of Bonnie and Clyde." With Janine and Corrine Williams in "Girlfriend/Kink" (I think it's the same movie, only with different packaging). This was her last scene but these women are all so incredibly beautiful.

With Nikki Tyler and Madelyn Knight in "Torrid Tales"- the story line and beauty is just off the charts.

With Zara Whites in "House of Dreams." Said to be one of Racquel's favorite lesbian scenes, the sex is tender and they slip in to a classic 69. Lovely.

With Victoria Paris in "Vegas: Let it Ride." Victoria in her bikini and sneakers. Racquel in her dress and heels. Two exquisite women being beautiful with each other. The smirk on Racquel's face before the first kiss is delicious!

One last thing about this scene. Racquel was one of the hosts of the 1998 AVN Awards. At one point she leaves the stage as Victoria comes on it to present an award. As they pass each other- Racquel whispers something in Victoria's ear.

In my mind, Racquel is telling Victoria "I remember when we were together and it was wonderful."

T.T Boy and Mark Davis discussed Racquel and Derek Lane on T.T Boy's podcast. They didn't go into details but it was quite evident that they had nothing good to say about Derek. I suspect he was overprotective and didn't let other men in the industry work with her. A real shame.

Of course, my assumption is based on Derek and Racquel parting ways later in her career. Which might be true or not.

I read a Racquel interview once (Fox Magazine, I think)......so long ago that it was actually printed on a piece of paper, not electrons on my computer monitor! So, sorry, no link.

Of course, we can never be sure if these interviews are completely accurate but in answer to the interviewer's question, Racquel said that doing girl/girl scenes was difficult for her at first because she was not bisexual, had never done it in her personal life and in fact had never even fantasized about sex with another girl. She said she knew that entering the adult business meant that she'd have to at some point but she found the idea very scary and was filled with trepidation.

She further said that her first lesbian experience ever in her life was on-screen with Savannah and that she was incredibly nervous but Savannah was understanding and that helped her a lot. She went on to say that she thought she was doing better with the girl/girl scenes although she still didn't think of herself as bisexual. But she'd learned to relax and go with the flow, and wasn't so nervous any more and could enjoy the sensations and have a good time even though girls really weren't her thing.

I can't remember the year but this interview was done while she was still active, so I suppose it's possible that her girl/girl thoughts continued to evolve after this.

She didn't specify the name of that first movie but according to iafd she did No Boys Allowed and Racquel's Addiction with Savannah, both released in 1991. She does have other girl/girl scenes in films released in 1990 but she very specifically named Savannah. We know release dates are a little funky sometimes.

I've watched both films and Racquel's Addiction is the one I'd put money on as her first ever lesbian experience because to my eye she does look a bit awkward at first.

I swear that there was a vid, 1990s-ish, and it was done by Suze Randall, but it was entirely about Racquel ... basically BTS photoshoot stuff and possibly some of her other scenes just cut in. There was an interview and a voiceover. Cannot find it anywhere. Go to IAFD, cannot find it; here or any other forum, no such luck.

And to be clear, I know that Deep Inside Racquel Darrian is there, features an interview with her, but this is completely different. It's BTS studio glamour photography, there's a female narrator talking about how Racquel will now take you inside the world of sex and desire (something like that) and then she talks about fucking on camera.

If this rings a bell for anyone, I'm hoping they have a more definite name and I can then search it out. Thanks.
