My oddball pic host filefap appears dead. Something called Cloudfart covered for them for a week but now reports the server MIA. A bit player at best, so no big ripples unless related to something else. ? $$ was my first thought, but I wonder if they were bombed? Not big enough to afford best defense.

Curious; is anyone else who uses PlntSzy, or any other site, also having issues opening anything uploaded to imagetwist? I've tried with and without adblockers, & via both Chrome & Firefox, but with no success....
A simple server check tells me that the site is up, and loads of people are uploading to it, so I'm assuming i'm somehow making some silly error??

An extraordinarily annoying issue with P & H!, duplicate uploads, and stacking!
Good morning all.
It seems that P & H is finally at an effectively functioning state. I have finally been able to get back into posting photos in the Wank Club and Babe of the Day again. However, just now I encountered a particularly annoying problem which I am not sure how many others have experienced it. What happens is that you decide to post let's say seven picture files to a Wank Club post. You go into a folder on your PC, choose seven photos, and you upload them. Everything looks fine until you hit the Insert Images button. At that point, it inserts the seven picture files into your post, but for some reason three of the pictures were inserted twice, side by side. Soooo.....I go into the Edit mode to eliminate the duplicate pictures. Rather than try to go in and individually pick out and eliminate the individual code for the duplicates, I simply deleted all of the photos and then tried to upload them again (this by the way was something that worked perfectly well before the P&H upgrade last November). But NOW, when you go to upload the picture files again, P&H STACKS what you uploaded before ON TOP OF the current upload attempt! So now, it has 14 picture files in the stack to upload (your original 7 pictures are now uploaded TWICE). Soooooo.....I thought that I would delete the entire original post and repost it fresh. So I delete the thread altogether and post a brand new thread. I go in, try to upload the 7 picture files again! NOW......P&H stacks THREE SETS of your original seven picture files! For some reason, P&H STILL saves the previous two upload attempts, and now stacks a THIRD set of the same pictures on top of the previous two! Now you have waiting for upload 21 photos, your original 7 and two MORE duplicate sets of the same pictures stacked along with it! I finally gave up, I've been trying to make this work for a half hour. I'm going to try to delete the entire post again and log out, then wait for a time and go back in and try it again.

A question about ImageHost Grabber & the pimpandhost site. Some posts' links seem to work fine with IHG, but with others the links give one only smaller than "original size" images. For example, this url gives this reduced-size image. One can manually click in a browser window to produce this url, from which the full-size image can be obtained. Or one can remove the trailing "_l" in the image name to get this image.
Although pretty rusty I do know a little bit about regular expressions, but I don't understand enough about the IHG host file editor/its functions to see how to amend the pattern used for p&h. I think what I'm wanting to do is an intermediary step in the process? Either take the thumb-link's url & append "?size=original" to it, or else take the img src link & parse out the trailing "_l". Any suggestions? |

Did you ammend the section with the ff:
URL Pattern: ^https?:\/\/(?:image\.|www\.)?pimpandhost\.com\/image\/.+?$ Search Pattern: function(pageData, pageUrl) { var iUrl = pageData.match(/img class="normal" src="(https?:\/\/.+?\.(jpe?g|png))"/); return iUrl ? {imgUrl: iUrl[1], status: "OK"} : {imgUrl: null, status: "ABORT"} |

I don't have an amendment that works, that's the problem. What amendment do you suggest one should make to solve this problem? I don't see where in the above to intercede and perform the type of intermediary amendment required--i.e. what I described above: either to Quote:
I think the format of the IHG function call doesn't allow one to intercede. The url pattern is for matching the thumb-link in the (vef) post, not for distinguishing between parallel urls on the host site (the reduced or original sizes). The match parses the img src value for the image url, it does not attempt to distinguish between different size images on p&h. |

Hmm, OK, the following worked on a test for me just now:
Code:
function(pageData, pageUrl) { var iUrl = pageData.match(/img class="normal" src="(https?:\/\/.+?)(_l)?(\.(jpe?g|png))"/); return iUrl ? {imgUrl: iUrl[1] + iUrl[3], status: "OK"} : {imgUrl: null, status: "ABORT"} } Last edited by effCup; April 6th, 2017 at 12:55 PM.. |
