Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Hierarchy and command structures exist in all societies, even those which purport to be anarchistic. For example, was Sid Vicious equal in power and authority to Johnny Rotten in the Peoples' Republic of Sex Pistols? Just how egalitarian were the Mammas and the Poppas? If everyone rows the oars independently you see a lot of activity and yet the boat doesn't go anywhere.
