What I meant , is that often when I make a post at the end of the day a mod or supermod will often put in a post, so that if you call up the list of many threads in GND or Funnies all you see is the last poster was a mod or supermod. They have this compulsion to always have their name shown on this list. They off course deny this, but I have been observing this peculiar behavior by the mod/supermods for the last year!

There must be some reward for reviewing the oceans of nonsense posted on a daily basis, looking at the same pictures over and over, and dealing with wayward members. Why deny them their small modicum of pleasure?

Because some of the mods/supermods are just evil as palo5 has said many times and he is right, and the reason is that they have power, and you know what Sir John Dalberg-Acton said in 1839 about that "power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely"!. Ok enough about this.

Off topic perhaps, but the Crown Victoria was a great car for the United States, especially the Mid-West. One might hope for better gas mileage, but not for sluggish performance. Here in California, the Ford Crown Victoria was the car of choice for the Highway Patrol and many police departments for a very long time.

Looks like a box with wheels whats with the rear view mirror half way down the door

Ford here about the same time were making this Falcon



The first of that particular shape was a minor lemon, but improved it greatly over the next 2 model updates, but at least at had a shape compared to the Crown Victoria

At that point the Crown Victoria was still selling despite retaining pretty much the same body for 20 to 30 years. I heard that some fellow in Chicago refused to let them change.
